At Hansa Studios, we try and offer sensible pricing. However, video editing, video producing, and archiving are extremely time consuming and challenging. Our editors are highly trained technicians & require some of the latest software and computer hardware. This equipment is constantly updated for obvious reasons. It is not cheap, but you will not be disappointed with our quality results.
Video Editing: Prices are dependent on many variables. A typical 3-5 minute video made from 30-60 minutes of raw video footage starts at $500 and goes up depending on the format, video complexity, and other options like titling, credits, and special effects.
Video Production: For event consultation and working with a videographer, our prices start at $4000, which includes our travel costs, equipment, on-site management, and directing. Remember, we are not the camera guy, instead we direct and guide the videographer to obtain that amazing footage. Later this can be edited into a phenomenal finished video.
Video Archiving: This is the most important investment you can ever make for your video library. For every hour of video archived the typical cost is $150, which includes transfer of video to hard disk, video enhancement if necessary, formatting DVD's, and burning DVDs. Typical formats include VHS, Hi-8, and MiniDV. Other types, including PAL and international formats, may require further charges.
Videos are never resold or shared in any fashion and are the private property of the customer. Hansa Studios only offers the services of video editing and/or production. No copyright material is every edited or manipulated by Hansa Studios.
